PURPOSE: A single molecule doped single-walled carbon nanotube and a thin film transistor using the same are provided to increase the characteristic of semiconductor components and reduce the metallic characteristic of the carbon nanotube by opening various single modules of the single-wall carbon nanotube. CONSTITUTION: A single molecule doped single-walled carbon nanotube includes the following: An aqueous dispersing solution containing single-walled carbon nanotube and a surfactant is prepared. A single molecule compound and a doping agent for the metal complex of the single molecule or the mixture of the same are added in the aqueous dispersing solution. A mixing process is implemented at temperature between 40 and 100 degrees Celsius. The doping agent is contained on the inner side of the single-walled carbon nanotube. The single-walled carbon nanotube containing the doping agent is washed.
