PURPOSE: A single wheel mobile robot is provided to easily control the angles of pitch, yaw, and roll directions by presuming and the angles of the body in the pitch and roll directions through a complimentary filter. ;CONSTITUTION: A single wheel mobile robot system(1000) comprises a body portion(100), a moving unit, first and second blowing units(310,320), and a sensing and controlling unit. The moving unit comprises one wheel(210) and a wheel driving unit. The wheel is installed on the lower center of the body portion. The wheel driving unit drives the wheel. The first and second blowing units comprise the first and second guiding units(311,321), first and second fans, and first and second fan driving units. The first and second guiding units are installed on the left and right sides of the upper body portion in the form of a cylinder. The first and second fans are installed on the inner part of the first and second guiding units and send air to the outside of the body portion. The first and second driving units drive the first and second fans, respectively. The sensing and controlling unit controls the operation of the moving unit and the first and second blowing units through the state and driving information of the body portion.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
