PURPOSE: An AVN terminal having a vehicle diagnosis function and a vehicle diagnosis method are provided to have a driver grasp a vehicle state on a real time basis and to allow the driver to drive safely and to manage the vehicle effectively. ;CONSTITUTION: The AVN terminal having a vehicle diagnosis function includes an AVN module; a diagnostic part and a display unit. The AVN module offers AVN information. The diagnostic part collects information about the vehicle and diagnoses if the vehicle has a problem or not.
