METHOD FOR REMOVING OF CHLORIDE IN MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE INCINERATION BOTTOM ASH USING ULTRASONICATION

PURPOSE: A method for eliminating chloride from the incineration bottom ash municipal solid wastes using ultrasonic waves is provided to recycle the incineration bottom ash as cement raw materials and road base layer materials by reducing the content of chloride from the incineration bottom ash. CONSTITUTION: The incineration bottom ash of municipal solid wastes is arranged in a water container containing a dissolving solution, and ultrasonic waves are radiated to the water container. Chlorides are eliminated from the incineration bottom ash based on cavitation effect and are dissolved in the dissolving solution. Carbon dioxide gas is injected into the incineration bottom ash to carbonate non-soluble chlorides, and the carbonated non-soluble chlorides are dissolved in the dissolving solution. The dissolving solution with the chlorides is separated from the incineration bottom ash.
