PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for correcting the inclined angle of a vehicle are provided to accurately calculate the error of the inclined angle by measuring the changed amount of accumulated altitude based on a global positioning system(GPS) satellite signal.;CONSTITUTION: The speed of a vehicle is measured with respect to a driving direction. The vertical distance of the vehicle is calculated using the measured speed and inclined angle of the vehicle in an error detecting time. The horizontal distance of the vehicle is calculated using the measured speed and inclined angle of the vehicle and the driving distance of the vehicle in the error detecting time. In an altitude calculating part(30), the altitude difference of the vehicle is calculated using a signal from the GPS satellite in the error detecting time. The error of the inclined angle is calculated based on the vertical distance, the horizontal distance, the driving distance, and the altitude difference.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
