PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for correcting the inclined angle of a vehicle are provided to simply calculate an error in the inclined angle of a vehicle without altitude information by setting an error-detecting reference distance in a large range.;CONSTITUTION: The speed of a vehicle is measured with respect to a driving direction. The vertical distance of the vehicle is calculated using the measured speed and inclined angle of the vehicle in an error detecting reference time. The running distance of the vehicle is calculated using the measured speed of the vehicle in the error detecting reference time. In a distance calculating part(20), the horizontal distance of the vehicle of the vehicle is calculated using the measured speed and inclined angle of the vehicle in the error detecting reference time. The error of the inclined angle is calculated using the vertical distance and the running distance or using the vertical distance and the horizontal distance.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
