Disclosed are an image forming method and a system for XHTML-Print data. The method comprises the steps of generating XHTML (Extensible Hypertext Markup Language) -Print data, transmitting the generated XHTML-Print data to an electronic device forming a network with the image forming device, and generating the image forming device using the electronic device. And transmitting the generated XHTML-Print data to execute image formation. Therefore, according to the present invention, the electronic device such as a mobile device receives the web content from the PC and executes the image forming operation on the image forming apparatus without directly transmitting the web contents from the PC to the image forming apparatus. The image formation can be performed without being restricted by the place.
