FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to hepatology, and is intended for non-invasive determination of liver fibrosis stage in patients with chronic viral hepatitis. Ultrasonic examination of organs of abdominal cavity is performed. The following clinical-instrumental indices are determined: sex, spleen length, spleen width, spleen section, liver sound conductivity, liver echogenicity, portal vein diameter, periportal pattern, average rate of blood flow in portal vein. Values of functions of fibrosis stage classification KFi are calculated by a series of certain formulae. Each of values of function of fibrosis stage classification is given index I, which corresponds to certain stage of fibrosis (0, 1, 2, 3). Stage of liver fibrosis is determined by formula Φ=i, where Φ is fibrosis stage; I is index of classification function with the greatest value.;EFFECT: method makes it possible to determine liver fibrosis stages in patients with chronic viral hepatitis in non-invasive way.;2 ex
