The device (1) has two guide legs (3a, 3b) bent against each other. A guide organ (21) and a spigot are respectively associated with the legs. A workpiece made of timber or plastic is connectable with the organ and the spigot. The organ and the spigot displaces and rotates a workpiece on a guiding groove (25), where the groove is assigned to a holder unit (8) for holding a tool. The legs are connected with one another by a knuckle (4) in a bendable manner. The tool is selected from one of an arc milling fixture i.e. hand router, scriber and a pin for marking the arc on the workpiece.
