The extruding slot die (1) has a lip (2), two adjustment units for adjusting the lip, so that width of a gap (4) limited by the lip is adjustable, and a driving device for driving the adjustment units. The adjustment units have a clutch for optional connecting of the respective adjustment units with the driving device. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting width of gap of an extruding slot die.
