The drive train (1) has a drive unit and an automatic gear box (5), where the automatic gear box is regulated by planetary wheel sets and frictionally engaged switching elements (B1,B2,B3,BR,K1,K2,K3,). The frictionally engaged switching element serves as internal starting element (NAK) in starting process of the motor vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a method for starting a motor vehicle.
