The present invention provides a device for monitoring the hose connection of a pneumatic product delivery system on demand on an agricultural machine. This can be done in many ways. One way is to detect the product flow in the product hose and since when it flows. If the product flows steadily through the hose, this indicates a disconnection. A second way is to detect the air pressure in the product hose to determine if it is still under pressure. If is disconnected, the air pressure drops indicating a disconnection. A third way is to detect a current through the connection to determine if it works or not. All of these methods produce a signal that can be returned to a monitoring device in the operator's station and alert the operator if a disconnected hose has been detected.
