PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem such that generation of by-products cannot be avoided because differences in reaction pathways and reaction rates in a raw material system are caused by nonuniform mixing of the raw material and nonuniform particle diameters of the raw material in a conventional method for manufacturing BaTi2O5 based composite oxide using the solid phase reaction method.;SOLUTION: The precursor powder of BaTi2O5 based composite oxide is formed of at least two kinds of components of a Ba based composite compound and a Ti based composite oxide, and composed of the particles formed by contact of the two kinds of components, and an element mass ratio Ti/Ba of Ba and Ti is in a range from 1.8 to 2.2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
