PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute a content to a portable information terminal.;SOLUTION: A content distribution system has a portable information terminal 130, and a content distribution device 110 connected to and communicate with the portable information terminal 130 via a wireless communication line 150. The portable information terminal 130 has a state information data transmitter for transmitting data indicating state information for a user of the portable information terminal 130 to the content distribution device 110. The content distribution device 110 has: a state information data receiver for receiving the data indicating the state information for the user of the portable information terminal 130 from the portable information terminal 130; a content selector for selecting a content to be distributed to the portable information terminal 130, depending on a pattern of details of the state information for the user of the portable information terminal 130, which is indicated by the data received by the state information data receiver; and a content data distributor for distributing data indicating the content selected by the content selector to the portable information terminal 130.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
