PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately correct nonuniform luminance of a display screen by using nonvolatile memory of small capacity.;SOLUTION: A correction data storage section 31 stores: group information in which correction areas corresponding to nonuniform luminance areas are grouped according to a variation value of an amount of nonuniform luminance, which is a difference between the luminance value of each pixel or each pixel group when an image corresponding to detection image data is displayed on a display screen and the appropriate luminance value of each pixel or each pixel group corresponding to the detection image data, and according to the degree of nonuniform luminance in each nonuniform luminance area; and correction data containing correction information indicating the content of a correction for each group corresponding to the group information. When an image corresponding to display image data is displayed on the display screen, a space dispersion processing section 33 determines a pixel to be changed in gradation value among pixels contained in the correction area, on the basis of the result of grouping the correction areas contained in the correction data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
