PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate position correction circuit in a plate forming mechanism which automatically adjusts a plate position finely to a final target position of a plate when the plate arrives at a slit position near the target position by measuring the rotation speed of a motor whenever the motor starts rotation, and computing time to generate a plate shape formation timing signal at an appropriate plate position from this motor rotation speed and the information (distance) on the preset plate position.;SOLUTION: A token original plate 78 is suspended on an upper part of a guide rail 77, a disk with a slit is rotated with a plate mounting roller 75, and the preset pulse number is counted from an origin position. When starting rotation of the plate, the rotation speed of the motor is obtained, the time period from a slit position near the target position to the final target position is computed from this speed, the plate formation timing signal is generated, and the token original plate 78 is dropped.
