PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector capable of more certainly detecting whether the number of parts to be fed is sufficient.;SOLUTION: An overlap detector 1 feeds a work 2 wherein a leaf spring 2a is held to a vane 2b and detects whether the number of the leaf springs 2a in the work 2 is sufficient, and is equipped with a feed passage 5 for holding the work 2 so that the elastic force of the leaf spring 2a acts on the vane 2b to feed the held work 2, the displacement plate 61 brought into contact with the vane 2b of the work 2 fed by the feed passage 5 and displaced by the elastic force of the leaf spring 2a, and a load cell 62 elastically deformed upon the contact with the displaced displacement plate 61 to calculate the elastic force of the leaf spring 2a on the basis of the elastic deformation of the displacement plate 61. It is detected whether the number of the leaf springs 2a is sufficient on the basis of the magnitude of the elastic force of the leaf spring 2a calculated by the load cell 62.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
