PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine that a food is adequately temperature controlled for keeping it fresh and to specify the area which is inadequately temperature controlled during distribution.;SOLUTION: This holder 31 for an indicator can hold the indicator which expands and changes with time and by ambient temperatures, and is attached to the package of a food. The holder has a function to send freshness information detected to a freshness information management server managing freshness information. At the beginning of the use of the holder, food information is registered on an IC tag 31c at a food information registration request.
