PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation container designed so as to reduce pressure applied to soil inside a lower-side container by the weight of an upper-side container or the like, and reduce labor required for root cut work, in a cultivation method where the containers are sequentially superimposed on one another to promote plant growth.;SOLUTION: The plant cultivation container (such as a flower pot 10) used for plant cultivation is structured as follows: the upper face of the container is open; a plurality of holes (such as holes 11) are vertically formed and root cut holes (such as root cut holes 15) almost perpendicularly intersecting the plurality of the holes are formed in a bottom wall part (such as a bottom wall part 16); and a supporting part (such as a shelf part 13) for supporting other containers superimposed thereon from above is formed on a side wall part (such as a side wall part 12). Such structure of the container results in that the pressure applied to the soil inside the container is reduced and also the root cut work is facilitated.
