Method for picking up objects of a batch on a tape (3) conveyor in a material handling system, in which a path object is defined. Advantageously, the method comprises the following steps: - forming a row of objects (RO) which extends transversely to said path of object, and having a maximum length which is substantially equal to the width of said tape (3) conveyor , cause the release of a row of objects (RO) whole along said belt (3) conveyor, repeating said steps until the objects (4) of that batch is exhausted, collecting these objects by a formation in columns of rows ( RO) onto said tape (3) conveyor, providing a better use of its surface.
