The Hosch method for measuring the cleaning efficiency of belt cleaners has demonstrated its suitability for practice in many cases. Every measurement is unique, i.e. it has to be prepared carefully and evaluated with consideration of all basic conditions. It helps the operator, with an acceptable work requirement, to obtain the necessary proof when making a decision regarding an investment in belt cleaners.
