An antibody or antibody fragment for use in treating a metastatic cancer, wherein the antibody or antibody fragment comprises a recognition region antigen capable of binding to both the metal ion and amino acids coordination site catalytic zinc of a metalloenzyme, wherein the antibody or antibody fragment inhibits the activity of MMP-2 and MMP-9.
