A method of making an article of hair from yarn continuously along a processing path, comprising the steps of: winding said wire in a station stationary winding (28) from a spindle (22) fixed to a shaft (20) which rotates the spindle (22); supporting said winding station (28) in said stationary shaft (20) while said shaft (20) rotates; It joining said loops or loops (26) at opposite ends thereof in a bonding station (72) to assemble said loops (26) forming a structurally continuous assembled hair, while support is provided to said loops ( 26) until structurally connected or attached; and drivingly contact with said assembled hair in order to convey said loop (26) and said assembled hair along said treatment path, to said winding stations (28) and attachment (72); and further comprising stabilizing said winding station so that it is stationary relative to a base (166) located outside said winding station (28).
