Warhead configuration of (10) to form a hole having a large diameter through a wall of a target, comprising configuring ogive: (a) a shaped charge (12) of explosive material, said load axis (18) and a front surface annular portion circumscribing said axis (18), said front surface portion being formed annular so as to have a concave profile (16) when viewed in cross section through said shaped charge (12) passing through said shaft (18) being configured at least part of said concave profile (16) such that a vector projecting outward from said normal portion to said front surface annular portion diverges from said axis (18) ; and (b) a sleeve (14) adjacent at least a portion of said front surface annular portion, characterized in that the vectors (J, J ', J ") projecting outwardly from said front surface annular portion normal to said concave profile (16) cover a range comprised between 15 and angular 90 such that, when said charge is detonated, the material of said sleeve (14) is agglomerated in an expanding ring (14 ') formed by explosion.
