A connection device capable of connecting the input shaft of a closed kneadingdevice and the output shaft of a drive device with both shaft eccentric to eachother and having extended service life. The connection device (6) connects theinput shaft (16) of the batch kneading device (1) and the output shaft (19) of thedrive device (2) for driving the batch kneading device (1). The connection devicehas a gear coupling part (5) capable of connecting the input shaft (16) of the batchkneading device (1) and the output shaft (19) of the drive device (2) with bothshaft eccentric to each other, a gear (24) meshed with the gear coupling part (5)so as to slide relative to the gear coupling part (5) in the face width directionof the gears as the gear coupling part (5) rotates, and an oil bath lubricatingpart (46) for lubricating the gear (24).
