The present invention relates to an apparatus which provides users with elevator arrival signaling and a door opening/closing status by turning a light-emitting device arranged on an elevator door on/off, and which also illuminates the front portion of the elevator door as needed. The apparatus of the present invention comprises: a frame (10) which is elongated in a vertical direction along the length of a door edge at the area in which both door panels (1) of an elevator meet each other, and which is open toward a hall; a light-emitting device (20) installed in the frame; and a protection board (30) which covers an inlet of the frame (10) to protect the light-emitting device (20) and enable light to be transmitted therethrough. The apparatus of the present invention provides users waiting in the hall with the elevator arrival status by turning the light-emitting device (20) on/off.
