The present invention provides a base material which enables the formation of a lumen-shaped tissue with valve, said lumen-shaped tissue comprising an enlarged part and a valve that are formed of a biological tissue. More specifically, the base material comprises a first column member (5) forming the upstream tubular part (4) of a blood vessel (3), a second column member (7) forming the downstream tubular part (6) of the blood vessel (3), a plurality of enlarged members (10) forming the enlarged part (8) and valve lobes (9) of the blood vessel (3), and a lock means (11) locking the enlarged members (10) to the first column member (5) and/or the second column member (7). The lock means (11) comprises concavities (15a, 15b) to be in contact with the end faces, in the axial direction, of the first column member (5) and/or the second column member (7) and a lock part (18) projecting from the main body (17) of the enlarged member and locking to the concavity. The outer circumferential face of the main body (17) of the enlarged member (10) constitutes an enlarged part-forming face (20) and a space between the main body (17) of the enlarged member and the first column member (5) and/or the second column member (7) constitutes a valve lobe-forming part (22).
