PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescent display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce manufacturing costs by using 5masks instead of 9masks.;CONSTITUTION: An active layer and a capacitor bottom electrode are separately formed on a substrate. A gate insulating layer is formed on the active layer and the capacitor bottom electrode. A bank layer(250) is arranged on the substrate including a source electrode and a drain electrode. The bank layer exposes a part of a first electrode(230c). The source electrode and the drain electrode are connected to the active layer. One of the source electrode and the drain electrode is connected to the first electrode. A spacer is arranged on the bank layer. An organic film layer(265) is arranged on the exposed first electrode.
