PURPOSE: A ship collision prevention and detection system is provided to prevent a collision by generating a warning signal when a distance between a ship and other objects is shorter than a predetermined critical distance. CONSTITUTION: A ship collision prevention part(111) calculates a distance between a ship and an object, a direction of the object, and a speed of the object. A controller(112) controls an alarm generation part in order to generates an emergency signal when the object is located within an emergency signal generation distance. The controller establishes the emergency signal generation distance according to the speed and the direction of the object. A pressure sensor senses an impulse of the ship when a collision between the ship and the object is generated. A ship collision processing part(113) transmits collision generation information to a server of an external management institute when a impulse is greater than a predetermined critical value based on the impulse sensed from the pressure sensor.
