PURPOSE: A steering control apparatus assists driver steering torque by generating motor command current through current control based on the inputted driver steering torque and detected motor operating current.;CONSTITUTION: A steering control apparatus(100) comprises a main printed circuit board(110), a shunt resistor(120) for motor operating current sensing, and a printed circuit board(140) for thermal relief. The main printed circuit board implements a function of assisting driver steering torque by an electronic circuit. The shunt resistor for motor operating current sensing detects motor operating current. The shunt resistor for motor operating current sensing is directly mounted on the surface of the main printed circuit board. The printed circuit board for thermal relief releases heat from a transistor(130) for current control and is horizontally arranged with the main printed circuit board.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
