METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A SINTERED INSERT RING JOINED WITH OIL GALLERY IN DIESEL ENGINE PISTON AND PISTON COMPRISING A SINTERED INSERT RING JOINED WITH OIL GALLERY

PURPOSE: A sintered insert ring welded with an oil gallery for a diesel engine piston and the piston integrated with the sintered insert ring welded with an oil gallery produced by using the same are provided to cast a piston by manufacturing an oil gallery and an insert ring to be integrated, thereby controlling casting detects and omitting a removing process of residual salt. CONSTITUTION: A sintered insert ring welded with an oil gallery for a diesel engine piston is as follows. An hollow ring-shaped steel oil gallery(10) and a sintered insert ring(20) are respectively manufactured. The steel oil gallery is press-fitted into the sintered insert ring so that an internal side of the sintered insert ring and an external side of the steel oil gallery are touched to each other. A copper alloy of high thermal conductivity is filled in inner pores of the sintered insert ring and around a joining part of the steel oil gallery and the sintered insert ring so that the steel oil gallery and the sintered insert ring are welded.
