PURPOSE: A charging apparatus for charging an electric vehicle and a charging condition informing method for the same are provided to inform a user about a charging state of an electric vehicle by using a text message. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(204) displays battery charger status information of an electric vehicle. An audio unit(206) outputs charging display effect sound. An input unit(208) inputs charging request information, charging alarm setting information, or a charging starting command. A communication unit(210) performs communication with a user terminal. A line connection unit(202) electrically connects a battery of the electronic vehicle. A control unit charges a battery of the electric vehicle according to charging request information in an input state of charging alarm setting information. The control unit outputs charging condition information. The controlling unit informs completion of charge in an alarm mode.
