PURPOSE: An electric parking brake system is provided to minimize the whole length of an actuator generates braking force by coupling a spindle member to the speed reducer in series.;CONSTITUTION: An electric parking brake system(100) comprises a motor(110), a cycloid speed reducer(120), a spindle member(130), and a nut member(140). The motor generates driving force for operating a rotary lever. The cycloid speed reducer amplifies driving force by being connected to the rotary shaft of a motor. The spindle member is rotated by being connected with a cycloid speed reducer. A male screw part(131a) is formed in the spindle member. The nut member comprises a female screw part for the relative moving with the male screw part. The nut member is moved along the longitudinal direction of the spindle member.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
