The brake has a brake-release mechanism (100) comprising a housing (110) fixed on a braking arm (30). A rod is moved with respect to the housing between a deployed position in which the rod does not compress springs (50) and a retracted position in which the rod compresses the springs. A clutch is arranged between an electric motor (130) and a speed-reducer or between the speed-reducer and the rod for disconnecting the electric motor from the speed reducer during braking or for disconnecting the speed reducer from the rod.
