Field assembly concrete culvert box having underground excavation prevention structure and construction method thereof

PURPOSE: A field assembly type concrete culvert box having a sinking prevention structure and a construction method thereof are provided to reduce the flow rate of sewage inside a culvert box because of heads. CONSTITUTION: A field assembly type concrete culvert box having a sinking prevention structure comprises precast concrete boxes(B,B') and a head connector(100). The head connector is arranged between the precast concrete boxes for head connection on a slope. The head connector comprises a spacer box(110), a downstream head joint member(120), and an upper stream head joint member(130). The spacer box has a spacer hollow part, a first through hole, and a haunch part. The downstream joint member is arranged between one side section of the spacer box and one of the precast concrete boxes, and the downstream joint member comprises a downstream hollow part and an upper cogged joint(121) which is hung on the top of one of the precast concrete boxes. The upper stream joint member is arranged between the other side of the spacer box and the other one of the precast concrete boxes, and the upper stream joint member has an upper hollow part and a lower cogged joint(131) which is hung on the bottom of the other one of the precast concrete boxes.
