FIBERSHAPED HOLLOW ELECTRODE, MEMBRANE-ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY COMPRISING THE SAME, AND ITS PREPARATION METHOD

PURPOSE: A fiber-shaped hollow electrode is provided to ensure excellent catalyst introduction yield, by-product generation amount, catalyst layer uniformity, electrode durability, electrochemical properties, and water electrolytic capacity. CONSTITUTION: A fiber-shaped hollow electrode comprises a fiber-shaped carrier in which the inside is empty and an activation catalyst dipped in the surface of the fiber-shaped carrier. A method for manufacturing the fiber-shaped hollow electrode comprises the steps of: (i) adding precursors of carriers to a polymer solution in which a fiber-shaped polymer, pH adjusting agent, and emulsifier to obtain a fiber-shaped carrier; (ii) adding an active catalyst precursor to a solution containing the fiber-shaped carrier to obtain a fiber-shaped electrode; and (iii) thermally decomposing the fiber-shaped electrode to obtain an fiber-shaped hollow electrode.
