PURPOSE: A method for treating a surface of a magnesium alloy plate is provided to prevent the stains in the surface of a magnesium alloy plate by applying a secondary cleaning process removing cutting oil after primary cleaning. CONSTITUTION: A method for treating a surface of a magnesium alloy plate is as follows. A surface machining process for a magnesium alloy plate is proceeded(S100). The magnesium alloy plate is cleaned by using halogenated hydrocarbon(S200). The magnesium alloy plate is cleaned by using alcoholic solvent in an ultrasonic cleaning bath secondarily.
