GRAMMAR ERROR DETECTING DEVICE CAPABLE OF PROVIDING EFFECTIVE FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNING EFFECTS TO STUDENTS AND A GRAMMAR ERROR DETECTING METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A grammar error detecting device and a grammar error detecting method using the same are provided to extract the similarity degree between a voice recognition result and a grammar error pattern, thereby detecting even a partially matched error in the voice which is not included in voice recognition grammar.;CONSTITUTION: A voice recognizing unit(100) recognizes an input voice. The voice recognizing unit converts the recognized voice into a confusion network format. A grammar evaluating unit(200) measures the similarity degree between a voice recognition result and a grammar error pattern. If a grammar error is detected, a grammar error classifying unit(300) linearly couples the total similarity degree of the grammar error pattern with an appearance frequency of a corresponding grammar error in a corpus which includes the grammar error.
