Multimedia player for studying foreign languages and playing method

PURPOSE: A multimedia player for studying foreign languages and a reproduction method thereof are provided to use all multimedia players as an efficient language learning dedicated device. CONSTITUTION: A user sets up a reproduction frequency and a pause time at a setup unit(10), and a multimedia player reproduces a selected audio/video file(12). A control unit detects a pause marker, and pauses the reproduction at a corresponding frame(13). If the user finishes the learning of foreign languages, the user releases the pause operation through a switch unit(14). The multimedia payer reproduces the file again.
