FIELD: physics.;SUBSTANCE: one performs successive irradiation of a composite materials consisting of at least two components (the binding agent and the filler) with a stream of penetrating radiation from two sources, transducer registration of intensity of radiation having passed through the composite material, determination of quantitative content at least one component by attenuation of radiation having passed through the composite material and computational calculation of the other component content; quantitative composition determination is performed during relocation of the composite material relative to the measurement system; the first source irradiates pure filler while the second source irradiates filler impregnated with the binding agent; two transducers register radiation from the first and the second sources giving passed through the composite material; there are two transducers additionally mounted at equal distances from the sources that register solely radiation having passed through the environment and having failed to pass through the composite material; then the quantitative content of the binding agent is determined by the ratio of intensities of radiation having passed and having failed to pass through the composite material according to the corresponding mathematical expression.;EFFECT: more accurate determination of quantitative composition of composite materials.;1 dwg
