The saddle has seat belt attachment elements e.g. mounting brackets (4a, 4b), provided in a region of sides of a riding animal i.e. horse. A fixing belt (13) permits fixation of a pressure equalization element (1) at a mount body, where the pressure equalization element is arranged at ventral side of the animal. Belt loops (3a, 3b) are sewn with support element parts (2a, 2b). The belt loops and the support element parts are manufactured from leather. The attachment elements lie loosely in the belt loops, and the pressure equalization element interconnects the seat belt attachment elements.
