Preparing a beverage, comprises: (a) providing an unfermented beer wort; and (b) preparing a mixture by mixing the unfermented beer wort with at least one beverage component, where the beer wort remains unfermented, and fermentation of the mixture does not occur until the time of filling in a container, and addition of yeast to the beer wort or to the mixture is omitted. An independent claim is also included for a beverage, comprising the beer wort, and at least one beverage component, where the beer wort is remains unfermented during unfermented beverage production and the finished beverage is unfermented until the time of filling into a container.
