The circuit (1) has a charge electrode of a capacitor connected with a voltage source for charging. The capacitor is unloaded through measuring resistors (2.1-2.4) by low impedance switching of electronic switches (AS1-AS4) i.e. analog switches. One of the measuring resistors is connected with a charge electrode of the capacitor through the electronic switches. A counter electrode of the capacitor and the electronic switches are grounded and facing away from a connection of the measuring resistor. An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring discharge time of a capacitor through a measuring resistor.
