The invention relates to a delta robot for increased dynamic, hygiene and collision protection requirements, comprising a fixed housing, in which at least three drives are incorporated, to which at least three long upper arms are connected such as to be able to rotate about an axis, each connected to a drive ad connected at the free end thereof to a pair of long and mutually parallel lower arms by means of a balljoint, connected a the other end thereof by a further balljoint to a moving parallel plate, wherein at both ends of each lower arm a ball head or ball socket is fixed as part of a balljoint, each lower arm having a stainless steel tube, the interior of which is sealed watertight at both ends by means of a ball head or ball socket and which is plastically deformable.
