The method involves forming a valve (1) with valve chamber (2) which is arranged with movable valve unit (4). The valve unit is positioned against a sealing seat (6) in switching position of the valve so as to form sealing surfaces (4a,6a). The sealing surfaces made of plastic material are annealed and heat-pressed with respect to each other. An independent claim is included for valve.
