Method for controlling and/or regulating friction unit, involves comparing actual and desired friction coefficients of friction unit for actuating friction unit based on determined deviation
An actual friction coefficient of the friction unit to a predetermined point in time is determined after the beginning of a speed handover during a switching operation of the transmission. The determined actual friction coefficient is compared with a desired friction level of the friction unit which is stored in the corresponding control unit. The friction unit is actuated based on determined deviation between friction coefficient and desired friction coefficient.
