The device according to the invention is designed to control a double contact contactor. The contactor comprises a call winding (La), a holding winding (Lm), a movable contact pad (CM), three contact pads (PC +, PC1 and PC2) and an electrically controllable micro-actuator. The contactor has three states of operation: a first state without electrical contact between the pads, a second state with an electrical contact between first and second pads (PC +, PC2) and a third state with an electrical contact between the first, second and a third contact pad (PC +, PC1, PC2). The device comprises first transistor switching means (T1, T2, CZ2, RC1, RC3, SL) for controlling the excitation of the call winding (La) and, in accordance with the invention, also second means transistor switch (T3, CZ2, RC2) for activating the micro-actuator for a predetermined time after activation of the device.
