The assembly has a central rear bumper support (4) and two side rear bumper supports (5) fixed on a rear panel (6) of a motor vehicle. A rear bumper is fixed on the supports such that an upper edge of the rear bumper follows a continuous line formed by a lower edge (2a) of a rear flap (2) and a lower edge of two rear lights of the vehicle. Each of the two side supports is connected to one of the two ends of the central support by a hinge, where the hinge is formed of a flexible connector (7) molded from a single piece with plastic material constituting the supports. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a motor vehicle, comprising a rear panel (2) a method for mounting a central rear bumper support and two side rear bumper supports assembly.
