The method involves inserting a cylindrical distal inspection tube (15) of endoscopic equipment via an endoscopic inspection opening (90), close to a mechanical part (91). A capillary tube is inserted in a working channel formed in the inspection tube by positioning under endoscopic visual inspection by the inspection tube emitting a white light. Penetrant products are injected into the capillary tube by transmitting an air flow near a shielded window (10) and a lighting window (11) at a distal end of the inspection tube. The inspection of the part is performed by the inspection tube. An independent claim is also included for an endoscopic equipment.
