The method involves supporting a camera (C) by a height adjustable column (A), where the camera is equipped with a filtered lens integrated to a base (B). Two semi-reflector cylinders (E1, E2) are fixed on a structure that rests on the base. Monochromatic tubular type luminous sources e.g. flashlight lamps, or luminous sources with a filter holder cover are installed in the cylinders in a circular curve, where the luminous sources are supplied by an electrical cabinet (F). The cylinders are made of high purity polished aluminum. An independent claim is also included for a device for taking an image, comprising two semi-reflector cylinders.
